I have to admit that when I decided to make the Montessori mobiles myself, I procrastinated quite a bit before starting: all the tutorials I found online were either too approximative or too complicated—side B has to be double side A and three times side C—but I then remembered a very important mantra:
BETTER DONE THAN PERFECT
So I forgot about all the strict rules and used a bit of that creativity that all my young students really like. Oliver and Emily loved their Montessori mobiles, they could spend several minutes looking at them while lying on their mat alone in their room while I could have a quick shower, dress, clean, cook, work…
Octahedron
- Munari 0-6 weeks
- Octahedron 6-8 (or 5-8) weeks
- Gobbi 7-10 weeks
- Dancers 8-12 weeks
Oliver and Emily loved it and, although in my opinion not as much as the Munari, they spend a long time looking at it (talking about minutes, please don't compare your children to mine).
